What It Really Means to Be A Female CEO and My Exciting Book Launch!
I recently joined NYT best-selling author, TED talk speaker, and publisher Anna David on her podcast, Launch Your Book, to talk about what it takes to be a successful female entrepreneur and CEO. We dove into my new book, How To Be A Female Badass CEO (if you haven’t gotten a copy yet click HERE – your support means everything!) and I shared my thoughts on why women need a solid support system and to honor their day job – you don’t need to quit just yet. I weave my personal experiences as a high-powered investment banker, a former buyer at Bloomingdale’s, an angel investor, founder of three companies, and a mother of five into this guide for the female CEOs of tomorrow.
Fun fact: Anna’s publication company, Legacy Launch, helped me publish and release How to Be a Badass Female CEO: Slay the Competition and Reach the Top!
We talk all things releasing a book, imposter syndrome, why we need a support system when pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors, and why I think you don’t have to quit your day job to start a business!
“I want to see women smash sales goals year after year, taking their ingenious inventions and gorgeous designs into markets all around the globe. I want to see women who start out as entry-level assistants end up at the head of the boardroom table, remaking the image of the CEO into one that’s fierce, feminine, and running things on her own terms.”
